How long does is take to get my heavy vehicle drivers license?
This of course depends on whether you are a first time driver, or if you have past driving experience. It could be as little as an hour for a refresher course, or much longer for a beginner. Of course, we are unable to put an exact time on how long it will take as all students are different and begin with different skill levels.

Where do I take my written test?
You undertake your written test with Queensland Transport. You need to attend one of their branches and no booking is required. A fee must be paid to them for this test.

What are the hours I can take training?
We offer long and varied hours for training and our highly qualified trainers are available to teach you from 7.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Saturday. For groups of 4 or more we can arrange training on Sundays.

Can I take training on more than one vehicle?
You may undertake training in more than one vehicle, however we recommend that you try to gain your licence in the highest category you are eligible and capable to do. You can then also drive the vehicles in the lower categories.

Do you offer job placement assistance?
At this point in time we do not offer job placement assistance. However, this is something we are looking at in the future, utilizing the network of employment agencies and corporate clients that use our services.

Do I need prior heavy vehicle driving experience?
If you require a Light Rigid or Medium Rigid license, the requirements are that you must have had a C Class driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months continuously (as well as passing the written test and paying the required fees). If you require a Heavy Rigid license, you must have already held a C Class driver’s license for a minimum of 2 years continuously or held a LR or MR license for a minimum of 12 months, as well as passing the written and practical tests.
